no place like home for the holidays

A few months ago (September 4th to be exact), Justin left for school at BYU Hawaii. Needless to say, we are all very excited for tomorrow morning when he arrives home for Christmas Break! This is the last time we saw him on the day he left:

Such a cute little boy. Welcome home in advance, Justy. There's no place like home for the holidays!

stevie's five-o on nine-o-two-one-o

Well, it's official folks, Stephen Leslie Nickle is fifty as of today, 9/02/10. Happy Birthday!

In celebration, we had a surprise shindig on Tuesday night, themed "Hawaii Five-O." It was a great turnout, and an absolute blast!

friday night lights, 2010

Timpanogos had their first game of the season last night vs. Payson. It was a win for the T-Wolves! It was exciting because as a new HS Junior, Bryson was able to start varsity as a runningback on offense! He also played quite a bit of defense. Of course Braden would have started too, but he has been recovering from a torn hip the past few weeks (YIKES). Next game!

Anyway, here are a couple of shots I got of Bryson after the game, acting normally, or should I say, as he normally does:

and now a good one:

Bryson had a huge play in the first quarter where he caught a long pass and ran with it for a 61 yard gain. Woohoo! He was mentioned by name in two of the local papers today for that play, click the links to view the articles online:
